The second house from the left is Thallo. This home is also embedded in the olive grove, yet it is the house signifying spring. Thallo’s name represents the bud of the fruit of the tree. It means youth, birth, beginning. Like all the homes its architecture is geometric; a mixture of sharp white linear walls against the stone structures making up other parts of the house. Thallo’s particularity is its L-shaped living/dining area whose large glass windows open up to the veranda and pool extending the space in the summer while maintaining its coziness in the Winter. Despite its place between the two other homes Thallo is carefully designed so as to ensure absolute privacy you still get a sense of privacy and independence from the other homes.
